Sound Walk Strategy: The criteria for my sound walk started at the Estabrook skatepark, which are abandoned tennis courts with skateboard obstacles set up all around it. Now with my starting location firmly set in place, my destination was not predetermined, the method I used to reach my destination was flipping a coin, I used the park as a boundary. Tails I change direction, Heads i keep going in the direction I was heading in. now whenever I call a coin toss I call Tails, its just been a habit since I was a little, this walk did not fall in my favor "literally." every 100 paces i would flip a 1998 quarter. At first all was going well until I reached the road and I flipped Heads until I reached Capital Drive.

Kids On the Mini Ramp

The Wooden Surface makes this clip distinct, as the skateboard travels across the ramp it's height physically changes which affects the sound being recorded as going up and down.

Pebbles Dropping

There was a drainage ditch surrounded by gravel and pebbles, The pebbles hit the metal grate before falling into the water. its quite obvious i dropped the pebbles myself but the noise they make is quite interesting and i found recorded very well.

Family Playing Soccer

Walking through the grass i picked up the sounds of a family playing soccer, kicking a ball and running through a field. The naive dad asked me what I was doing and i found it hilarious at how blunt he was so i decided to keep it in my sound clip.

Bus Acceleration

The sound quality for the bus is very static, because I was using a high-automatic setting, but the sound of the bus pulling away form the stop I feel is quite interesting. You can hear the automated voice of the bus talking in the fade out too.

Pole Jam

I was Skating around Estabrook skatepark with my microphones in hand and decided to do a trick called a polejam "shown above" I attempt the trick still holding my microphones and don't succeed, i get back on my skateboard and attempt the trick again, you can hear me using a ramp to turn around on before i knick the metal pole with my skateboard and roll away smoothly.
